2026年5月、スピンオフプロジェクト「Seagulls In Japan」が始動。
第一弾として、日本の伝統技術を現代に同期させる新ブランド「heri:sync」が参画。
Brighton & Hove Albion FCのアイデンティティと、日本の誇るべきクラフトマンシップが融合した、ユニークで新しいプロダクトが誕生しました。

【Brighton & Hove Albion FC by heri:sync 手拭：tenugui】
●日本古来の「手拭い」の知恵を、現代のスタジアムギアとして継承した一枚。端を縫製しないことで雑菌の繁殖を抑え、緊急時には裂いて応急手当に使える、日本古来の「切りっぱなし」の仕様をあえて採用。
●100年続く伊藤染工場による、一版ずつ丁寧に染料を刷り込む伝統技法「手捺染」を採用。表面を塞ぐプリントではなく「染め」を採用することで、綿本来の柔らかさと吸水性を損なわず、実用的な道具として機能。
●デザインには、クラブの象徴であるストライプを大胆に拡大して採用。サポーターが掲げた瞬間に周囲のラインと視覚的にリンクし、観客席全体を壮大なスケールのストライプで彩る新しい応援スタイルを提案。

As the inaugural partner, the heritage-modernist brand "heri:sync"—which synchronises traditional Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary life—joins the project. This collaboration represents a unique fusion of Brighton & Hove Albion FC’s identity and Japan’s esteemed artisanal traditions.

● A piece that inherits the ancient wisdom of the Japanese "Tenugui" and reimagines it as modern stadium gear. It deliberately adopts the traditional "raw-edged" (unhemmed) finish; this prevents the growth of bacteria and allows the cloth to be easily torn for emergency first aid if required.
● Dyed by the century-old Ito Dyeing Works using "Tenassen" (traditional hand-screen printing). Unlike surface-level printing, this "dyeing" process ensures the cotton retains its natural softness and high absorbency, functioning as a truly practical tool.
● The design features a boldly enlarged interpretation of the club’s iconic stripes. The moment a supporter raises the Tenugui, the lines visually link with those around them, proposing a new style of support that paints the entire stand in a grand-scale rhythmic stripe.
