2026年5月、スピンオフプロジェクト「Seagulls In Japan」が始動。
第一弾として、日本の伝統技術を現代に同期させる新ブランド「heri:sync」が参画。
Brighton & Hove Albion FCのアイデンティティと、日本の誇るべきクラフトマンシップが融合した、ユニークで新しいプロダクトが誕生しました。

【Brighton & Hove Albion FC by heri:sync 袢纏：hanten】
●江戸時代の装い「袢纏」を、現代の衣服として再構築。1枚の四角い布を余すことなく使い切る日本古来の合理性を守りつつ、着用時の不要なシワを削ぎ落とし、襟幅を細く整えた「今の服」に馴染むモダンなシルエット。
●100年続く伊藤染工場による、一版ずつ丁寧に染料を刷り込む伝統技法「手捺染」を採用。繊維の奥深くまで染料を浸透させ、鮮やかで味わいのある色表現を実現。
●デザインには、クラブの象徴であるストライプを大胆に拡大して採用。個々のラインが繋がり、スタジアム全体に巨大なストライプが浮かび上がる、壮大なスケールの応援体験を提案。
●ブランドタグには福井県の伝統工芸「越前織」を採用。高密度に織り上げることで、緻密な文字デザインを「織り」で表現。

May 2026 marks the launch of the spin-off project, "Seagulls In Japan."
As the inaugural partner, the heritage-modernist brand "heri:sync"—which synchronises traditional Japanese craftsmanship with contemporary life—joins the project. This collaboration represents a unique fusion of Brighton & Hove Albion FC’s identity and Japan’s esteemed artisanal traditions.

● The "Hanten"—a quintessential garment of the Edo period—is reinterpreted for the modern wardrobe. While honouring the ancient Japanese principle of minimal-waste construction (using every inch of a single rectangular cloth), the silhouette has been refined to remove unnecessary bulk, featuring a narrow collar that integrates seamlessly with contemporary attire.
● Dyed by the century-old Ito Dyeing Works using "Tenassen" (traditional hand-screen printing), where dyes are meticulously applied layer by layer. This technique ensures the pigments penetrate deep into the fibres, resulting in vivid, soulful colour expressions.
● The design features a bold, enlarged interpretation of the club’s iconic stripes. When fans gather, the individual lines connect to form a singular, massive stripe as if the entire stadium is unified—a grand-scale supporter experience.
● The brand tags are crafted using "Echizen-ori," a traditional high-density weaving technique from Fukui Prefecture, allowing for intricate typography to be expressed entirely through the weave.
